This weekend, my husband and I went to my family’s cabin in Alberta! We went to get a few days to hang out with my brother (who was visiting from his home in Australia). But we also got to meet my cousins’ new babies, and spend a little bit of time playing with one of my cousin’s older kids! I played so much, in fact, that I had no voice left at the end of the weekend. That’s a sweet kind of holiday.

I mostly spent the weekend taking casual shots – but my cousins did ask me if I could take a few images of their four kids together. I think all of these images turned out super well, so I’m sharing them on the blog!

First, let me present Calla. She’s five. And awesome. Calla loves me, she tells her mom she’s going to live in Toronto when she grows up. Then, we’ve got her 2 year old sister Vivan. Viv doesn’t give it up for just anyone and she hasn’t seen me since she was a baby. So, my heart totally melted on Saturday afternoon when she crawled into my lap while watching Justin Beiber. Preston is Jenny’s 10-month old son (and brother to Calla and Vivian). Preston might be the world’s happiest and most easy going baby. He sort of has to be, what with two older sisters!

The “babiest baby” of the weekend was Makenna. My cousin Angie’s 3 month old daughter – who is still so little she will cuddle. She is also smells so good. And is super adorable!

But, my baby train wasn’t over just quite yet. We got back late Sunday night and went out for dinner on Monday night with some friends visiting from Vancouver and got to meet adorable baby Nathan for the first time!
